(BRANT TWP, ON) – On October 17th, 2010 at 3:45 am, a member of the South Bruce OPP was on patrol along Bruce Road 4 in Brant Township when a westbound vehicle was observed travelling at a high rate of speed. The officer stopped to turn around, and then watched as the vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch near the intersection of Bruce Road 4 and Pleasure Valley Road. The vehicle was heavily damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
20 year old Joshua Johnson of Walkerton is charged with Careless Driving and Driving while under suspension. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the Hanover Hospital by Ambulance for treatment of non life threatening injuries.
