On Wednesday October 23rd just after 11:30 a.m. police responded to the Bibles for Missions Thrift store situated at 1698 18th Avenue East with regards to a red coloured Honda CRV colliding with the building.
Investigation revealed that an 80 year old male driver from Gloucester was attempting to park his vehicle and mistakenly caused it to accelerate into the building. The building sustained moderate structural damage. The vehicle was also moderately damaged and the driver was not injured. No charges will be laid in relation to this collision as a result of it occurring on private property.
