The Chatham-Kent police have charged a woman in connection with a domestic violence investigation.
Yesterday, a 59-year-old Harwich Township man attended police headquarters regarding incidents of domestic abuse. At this time, the man reported that he had been assaulted by his common-law partner several times during their relationship.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. last night, officers arrested a 46-year-old Chatham woman. She has been charged with four counts of assault. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
