In August, the man was placed on probation and ordered to obey a curfew from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily.
Early this morning, around 5:45 a.m., officers responded to an altercation on Lacroix Street in Chatham. Through investigation, officers learned that the man was not in his residence and therefore failing to comply with his curfew condition.
The 35-year-old Chatham man has been charged with breaching his probation order. He has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
