In September, the man was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that he was to abstain from communicating with a specific Wallaceburg woman.
Yesterday morning shortly after 10:00 a.m. the man attended the Court House on Grand Avenue West in Chatham. The woman was also present at the Court House. In the hallway, the man turned towards the woman and started talking to her. The woman walked away as the man continued the conversation.
Court officers were notified and the man was arrested. The 36-year-old Wallaceburg man was charged with failing to comply and held in custody pending a bail hearing.
