At approximately 9:10pm, police attended an Ottaway Avenue residence in regards to male causing a disturbance outside the residence. Upon arrival arrival the officers discovered that the disturbance was a result of a domestic situation that had occurred within the home. Investigation revealed that a female had been assaulted. The 28 year old male was arrested and charged with assault. He was held in custody pending a bail hearing. The female sustained minor injury.
