On November 15,2014 approximately 7pm, a delivery person was robbed in the area of Vanier Drive and Shelly Drive, Kitchener. The driver was responding to the area after a male suspect placed an order using a false address. When the driver arrived to deliver the item, he was confronted by the suspect who brandished a large knife. The male then fled on foot with the package. The delivery driver did not sustain any injuries. Anyone who may have been in the area or who may know anything is asked to call police at Central Division 519 650 8500 ext. 4499 or Crime Stoppers 1 800 222 8477. Delivery drivers are reminded to stay vigilant and cautious, especially when making deliveries of orders made by pay phone.
