On September 30, 2014, the Guelph Police Service commenced a homicide investigation after the discovery of a deceased sixty-one-year old female at the residence located at 1541 Gordon Street south, Guelph.
The Guelph Police continue to move forward with the homicide investigation concerning the death of Patsy Lewis. Currently there is a full time team assigned to this investigation from the Investigative Services Branch. As with any homicide, this investigation is complex, and evidence that has been collected to date is currently in the possession of the Center of Forensic Sciences, for expert examination and analysis. There have not been any charges laid in this investigation to this point. Any specific details of the investigation are not for public release in order to maintain and preserve the integrity of the investigation.
As this investigation continues to progress, new information will be released to the public.
