Back in late October 2014, a 40yr old male assaulted his common law spouse while at their residence in Chatham, by putting his hands around the victim’s neck and pulling on her hair until she cried. Police were called, but attempts to locate the accused at this time were unsuccessful. On the 28th of November 2014, the accused was located and arrested. Accused will make a bail hearing later this morning.
