On December 12, 2014 the Guelph Police investigated a break and enter at an Oxford Street residence. A cell phone, jacket, keys and sunglasses were stolen. On December 13, 2014 the investigation led police to a York Road home. While speaking to the male resident, police observed a small quantity of Crystal Meth and the male was arrested. A subsequent search located the stolen items from the Oxford Street break and enter.
John Hartung, 31 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (CDSA), possession of property obtained by crime, two counts of breach recognizance and two counts of breach probation. He will appear in court on December 17, 2014.
