Guelph Police Drug Unit assists in Project Pinecreek

In December of 2014, the Guelph Police Drug Unit assisted the Ontario Provincial Police in a multijurisdictional investigation called Project Pinecreek.

Three arrests were made as a result in the Guelph area and a search warrant was executed on December 14, 2014 at an Eramosa Road home. The search warrant discovered a large quantity of Crystal Methamphetamine, a quantity of Marihuana and multiple weapons.

Kevin SCHAEFER, 44 years of Kitchener has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on January 23, 2015.

Tyson VAN ARKEL, 30 years of Guelph has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a controlled substance, unauthorized possession of a weapon, trafficking a controlled substance and breach probation. He will appear in court on December 23, 2014.

Kristen NOON, 27 years of Guelph has been charged with unauthorized possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon while prohibited, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. She will appear in court on January 16, 2015.
