On December 19, 2014 around 9:45pm, two vehicles were stopped at the intersection of Elgin St S and Elliott St, in the City of Cambridge. As the first vehicle began to turn left, a third vehicle approached these vehicles and side swiped one of the vehicles and collided with the other. The driver of the third vehicle, a 43 year old Cambridge man fled the collision on foot and was arrested by police shortly after. This driver was charged with impaired driving among other offences. The other drivers and occupants involved in this collision received minor injuries.
