OCC#BA14-062123 ARMED ROBBERY
The Barrie Police Service has arrested and charged a 27 year old Barrie male and a 20 year old Barrie female for the armed robbery that occurred at the Mac’s Milk store located at Penetang St and St Vincent St that occurred on December 28th at 12:10am.
The investigating officers were able to identify the male and as a result a search warrant was obtained for his residence. The Tactical Unit assisted in the execution of the search warrant and both suspects were arrested in the residence, which is a short distance from the store. A search of the home resulted in an imitation handgun being seized.
Both of the accused have been held pending a bail hearing.
