Barrie Police were called to a downtown bar for an intoxicated male who was having difficulty paying his bill.
The male purchased a sandwich and after paying the $7.00 cost, left the waitress a tip of $98,931.87.
Police investigating the male and found he was intoxicated and unable to properly care for himself.
He was taken to the Barrie Police Service where Police learned the male was also on a recognizance to refrain from consuming alcohol.
The 35 year old Angus male was held for a bail hearing.
Unfortunately for the waitress, the accused credit card was rejected and thus no tip was left.
