On October 26, 2014 at 3:32 a.m., the Guelph Police Service went to a serious motor vehicle collision that occurred at the construction site located at the dead end of Elmira Road South at Fife Road.It is alleged that a single motor vehicle travelling south on Elmira Road left the roadway and came to rest in a field. The female driver was airlifted to Hamilton General Hospital with serious injuries.
On December 30, 2014, as a result of a thorough police investigation, Samantha Cooper, 23 years of Puslinch has been charged with dangerous driving, impaired operation of a motor vehicle and drive with over 80 mg of alcohol. She will appear in court on March 31, 2015.
