On January 4, 2015 at 8:56 p.m., the Guelph Police received a call about a possible impaired driver downtown. Police located the vehicle and driver parked on Woodlawn Road East a short time later. The driver had been drinking alcohol and was arrested.
Alexander Simpson, 25 years of Cambridge has been charged with care and control impaired and care and control over 80mg. He will appear in court on January 16, 2015.
