(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has closed Thames Road East (Huron County Road 83) between Exeter and the village of Russeldale at Perth Line 20 & Road 164.
A transport truck was travelling eastbound on Thames Road when it slid off the roadway into the north ditch near Hern Line. The driver of the transport truck and trailer was uninjured.
The roadway will be closed for an estimated 2 to 3 hours so a heavy tow can safely remove the vehicle from the ditch.
Please take an alternate route to avoid delays.
