On January 10, 2015 at 2:00 a.m., the Tactics and Rescue Unit responded to an assault call at a licensed establishment in the downtown. It is alleged that a 17-year-old female was punched by a male causing minor injuries to her face. The two were not known to each other. Investigation led to the male’s arrest and the discovery of a quantity of marihuana on him.
Abdullah Kadir, 21 years of Toronto has been charged with assault and possession of a controlled substance. He will appear in court on January 12, 2015.
