Three Day Suspension For Drinking Driver

(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – A 27 year old driver from Haldimand County was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension recently after he was stopped driving in inclement weather on Kingsbridge Line. On January 5, 2015 a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped a Volkswagen Passat that was travelling southbound on Kingsbridge Line toward the closed roadway at Bluewater Veteran’s Highway.

Upon speaking with the driver police noted the driver had been drinking alcohol. A roadside test was completed and the driver registered a warn range reading. As a result the 27 year old driver from Haldimand County was served with a three day driver’s licence suspension.
