Woman Charged with Domestic Related Offences CK15002488
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman in connection with a domestic disturbance.
Last night, the woman and her ex-husband became involved in a verbal altercation. The woman damaged clothes that the man had in the matrimonial home by pouring bleach all over them. She also damaged the windshield of his vehicle and door of his trailer which was still parked on the property. Total damage was estimated at $550.
The 43-year-old Howard Township woman has been charged with three counts of mischief under $5000. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Woman Charged with Failing to Comply CK15002494
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a woman for breaching her release conditions.
On October 16, 2014, the woman was released from custody with several conditions. One of those conditions stated that she was to abstain from communicating with a specific Wallaceburg man.
Around 12:30 a.m. this morning, an officer on general patrol initiated a vehicle stop on Wallace Street in Wallaceburg. The man was driving and the woman was a passenger. She was taken into custody.
The 39-year-old Wallaceburg woman has been charged with failing to comply. She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Motor Vehicle Collision in Erieau CK15002465
Around 2:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon, police responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Mariners Road.
The driver lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway and stuck a pole. Luckily, the man was not injured. Total damage was estimated at $7000.
The 43-year-old Chatham man was charged with careless driving.
Motor Vehicle Collision in Tilbury CK15002479
Shortly after 6:00 p.m. last night, police responded to a two vehicle collision on Mill Street West near Albert Street.
No one was injured. Total damage was estimated at $1500.
A 65-year-old Chatham man was charged with making a turn not in safety.
