$30,000 Drug Bust In London

The London Police Service has seized a sawed-off shotgun and over $30,000 in drugs and cash.

On Friday, January 23, 2015, members of the Guns and Drugs Section, consisting of members of the London Police Service and RCMP, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a Pond Mills Road residence after arresting four people from two vehicles.

The following items were seized:
– Sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun
– 6.3 ounces crystal methamphetamine – $17,700
– Hydromorphone contin (6mg, 24mg, 30mg) – $4,150
– 32 grams marihuana – $320
– Currency – $11,460

Total Drugs Seized – $22,170

As a result of the investigation, the following people were charged:

Robert Rivard, (36) of London:
– Four counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) CDSA;
– Possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to sectoin 4(1) CDSA;
– Possess firearm while prohibited, contrary to section 117.01(1) CC;
– Possess prohibited firearm, contrary to section 92(1) CC; and
– Driving while disqualified, contary to section 259(4) CC.

Nicole George, (25) of London:
– Four counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) CDSA;
– Possession of a Schedule II substance, contrary to sectoin 4(1) CDSA; and
– Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon, contrary tosection 91(1) CC.

Charles Grebenchan and Ericka Paton, both 24 years of London, have been charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to section 5(2) CDSA.
