On January 29, 2015 at 6:28 p.m. in the area of Commissioners Road and Leathorne Street, a male driver was arrested by police after officers observed red and blue lighting from the rear and front windows and a siren activated from a silver four door 2007 Dodge Charger. Police also observed motorists pulling over while the emergency lighting was activated. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver. A flick knife was located inside the vehicle.
As a result, Terry Mertick, 50 years of London is charged with false representation as a peace officer and possession of a prohibited weapon.
