Ottawa As a result of the investigation that commenced on the morning of January 31st, 2015, three persons have been charged with a total of 33 criminal charges. The handgun believed to have been used in this shooting incident was seized as the result of the execution of a search warrant at 1411 Morisset Avenue.
Abdirachid MOHAMED, 25 years of Ottawa has been charged with 11 firearms-related offences.
Melissa Labranche, 28 years of Ottawa has been charged with 8 firearms-related offences and one count of failure to comply with the conditions of a Recognizance.
A 17 year old youth, also of Ottawa has been charged with 8 firearms-related offences, as well as one count each of attempted murder, robbery, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with the conditions of an Undertaking.
