On February 02, 2015 the Cambridge Fire Department and Waterloo Regional Police were called to a
residence on Gatehouse Drive in the city of Cambridge in regards to a shed fire. Cambridge Fire extinguished the fire with one homeowner receiving treatment at the scene for minor burns. The fire is believed to have started after a blanket had been placed next to a space heater in the shed. Damage to the residence is estimated to be approximately $70,000 with an additional $7,500 in damages to an adjacent residential shed.
