An Owen Sound man is facing threatening and weapon charges following an incident this afternoon. At approximately 1:00pm the man attended an eastside Owen Sound residence and threatened another man with a hammer. The man attempted to force open the entry door to the residence with the hammer and left when he was unsuccessful. Police were called and arrested the man a short distance away.
Curtis Kirk 26 years has been charged with Uttering Threats, Weapons Dangerous and Mischief. He remains in police custody pending a bail hearing Wednesday morning.
