On Thursday March 12, 2015 at approximately 8am, an eastbound vehicle on Weimar Line in Wellesley struck a 16 year old local boy. The boy was attempting to cross the road to catch his school bus. The boy was transported to hospital by ambulance suffering a leg and head injury. No charges will be laid against the 53 year old driver as bright sunshine and inattention by the boy were likely factors in the collision.
