Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a robbery which occurred near a residence in the city of Kitchener. An adult female was approached by an unknown male, sprayed with an unknown substance and had her purse taken. The male then fled the area. The female did not sustain any serious injuries. The description of the suspect is a male of unknown race, 5’6” with an average build and wearing a blue coat. The incident is not believed to be a random incident and the investigation is ongoing.
