On Tuesday March 31, 2015 at approximately 3:53 pm a single motor vehicle collision occurred on Wabanaki Dr near Wilson Ave in the city of Kitchener. The 2013 Chev van was driven by a 57 year old Kitchener male who was the lone occupant of the motor vehicle. The vehicle was westbound on Wabanaki when for reasons that are still under investigation the motor vehicle left the south side of the road crashing through a fence. As a result of the collision the male driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Waterloo Regional Police had Wabanaki Dr closed between Godrich Dr and Wilson Ave for approximately 6 hours in order to investigate this collision.
