At approximately 5:10pm a citizen reported an impaired driver leaving a Westside apartment building.
The vehicle was subsequently located travelling in the 400 block of 10th Street East by police.
The driver was arrested for impaired driving and transported to the Owen Sound Police Station where he provided two samples of his breath which exceeded twice the legal limit.
A 57 year old Caledon man has been charged with impaired driving and driving over 80 milligrams. The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Owen Sound Court on the 23rd of April.
