On April 23, 2015, at 8:11pm Waterloo Regional Police responded to a disturbance at a Lancaster Street, Kitchener apartment. As a result of the disturbance an adult male from Cambridge suffered lacerations to his hands from a sword. The injured male left the apartment and entered a nearby convenience store where emergency services were contacted. The male was transported to Grand River Hospital for treatment and was later released. No charges were laid in relation to the incident.
