(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) – On May 8, 2015 at approximately 9:22 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a call to attend a residence on Ann Street South, Clifford, Town of Minto, to investigate a confrontation that occurred between a man and woman. An argument took place, in which the man was reported to have been leaning in the window of a 2005 Dodge van. The female driver proceeded to leave and the man was allegedly dragged down the road for some distance. The driver left the scene and made no effort to contact police. The man was taken to a local hospital by Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for minor injuries.
Kim CALLEGARI age 53 of Clifford has been charged with the Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm and Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident Involving Bodily Harm, with both charges under the Criminal Code. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on June 2, 2015.
