(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 27, 2015 at 9:26 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a theft report from the former landfill site along Valentine Avenue in Kincardine. Sometime between 3:30 p.m., on April 25, 2015 and 8:30 a.m. on April 27, 2015, more than 200 metres of copper wire, valued at more than $2,000, was taken.
Through investigation, the South Bruce OPP has identified 3 people involved in this incident.
Forty-five-year old Paul BROWN of Kincardine was arrested on May 7, 2015. He has been charged with possession of stolen property and breach of probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing on May 7, 2015.
Thirty-five-year old Candy MIDDELKAMP of Kincardine was arrested on May 7, 2015. She was charged with possession of stolen property. She is scheduled to appear in court on June 15, 2015 to answer to the charge.
Fifty-one-year old Chris HARRIS of Kincardine was arrested on May 8, 2015. He has been charged with possession of stolen property and 2 counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing on May 8, 2015.
