(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – A 39 year old Huron East resident is facing a court date for Racing a Motor Vehicle following a traffic stop on May 8, 2015. At approximately 7:45 p.m. a Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer observed a Pontiac Sunfire travelling westbound on Hydro Line Road at a high rate of speed. The officer measured the vehicle’s speed at a speed more than 50 km/h over the posted 80 km/h speed limit.
The Ponitac Sunfire was stopped and the driver was charged. He was also served with an automatic seven day driver’s licence suspension and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days.
Michael STOLL, 39, from Huron East has been charged with Race a Motor Vehicle. He has a scheduled court appearance for June 16, 2015 at Provincial Offences Act Court in Goderich.
