On Thursday, May 14, 2015, at approximately 2:10am, a 21 year old male and a 21 year old female were walking in the area of Columbia St and Batavia Place in the city of Waterloo when the male was grabbed from behind by three males and then assaulted. The males left with the victim’s cell phone and the female victim’s purse and contents. The male suffered non-life threatening injuries to his face and head and was treated at GRH.
