On Tuesday June 2nd 2015 at 6:57 p.m. a 6 year old boy from Kitchener attempting to cross Millwood Crescent was struck by a van driven by a 27 year old Kitchener man. The boy sustained major lower body injuries and was transported to Grand River Hospital by ambulance. The driver was not injured. Waterloo Regional Police would like to remind parents to speak with their children about road safety and the dangers of playing near the street. Charges are not anticipated at this time.
