On the 3rd of June 2015, as part of an ongoing break and enter investigation the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit arrested two Barrie males.
The investigation revolved around commercial break and enters occurring between April and May of this year. Several local businesses were broken into and had a quantity of construction equipment stolen.
The Street Crime Unit identified a suspect and recovered approximately $10,000 in stolen equipment.
During his arrest the 44 year old Barrie male was in the company of another 27 year old Barrie male and both were also found to be in possession of Crack Cocaine.
Both males were transported to Barrie Police Headquarters.
