- On June 5, 2015 at 4:08 a.m., the Guelph Police went to the area of Eastview Road and Watson Parkway for the report of a single vehicle into the ditch. Police located the motor vehicle and three passengers that had been in it. The male driver had fled the area on foot. A Canine track was conducted and the male was located a short distance away. This male did have injuries and required medical attention. He was transported to Guelph Hospital by ambulance. The three passengers were not injured. This investigation is still ongoing.

2. Break and enter
On June 4, 2015, the Guelph Police received the report of a break and enter to a shed at a York Road residence. The culprit(s) entered sometime during the afternoon on June 3 and stole a bike trailer and tools.

3. Drive over 80 mg – arrest
On June 5, 2015 at 2:23 a.m., the Guelph Police conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle on Arthur Street North. Police spoke with the male driver and a demand was made for a roadside breath sample. He failed this test and was arrested.
Jacob Cain, 35 years of Guelph has been charged with drive over 80 mg. He will appear in court on June 16, 2015.
