Break And Enter In Listowel – Door Hinges Pried

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Monday June 08, 2015, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to an address on Clayton Street East in Listowel where the homeowner discovered a break-in to his shed.

Sometime between 11:30 p.m. on Sunday June 07, and 5 a.m. on Monday June 08, an unknown person(s) pried the hinges of the locked shed. This allowed access to the interior of the shed from which a number of tools were removed.

Stolen tools:

– 2 Stihl quick cut saws

– 1 Husqvarna quick cut saw

– A set of MasterCraft wrenches

The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious persons or vehicles that may be stopped in neighbour’s driveways when they are not home, or vehicles that are travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get the individual’s description, and for vehicles obtain licence plate numbers, make, model, direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
