The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 123 calls for service in the past 24 hours. Six people were arrested.
Break and Enter in Chatham
Between June 8th, 2015 at approximately 7:00pm and June 9th, 2015 at 7:00am, an unknown person lifted one part of the wire partition fencing surrounding the garden centre outside of Home Hardware on Keil Drive in Chatham. The suspect attempted to steal cash from the register; however the register contained no cash. Damage to the lock was $20. There are no suspects at this time. Break and Enter in Blenheim
On June 9, 2015 between midnight and 6:00am, unknown person entered locked apartment on John Street in Blenheim by pushing open the door and ransacked the residence. The only item stolen was a bicycle, which was later recovered and returned to the owner.

Man Arrested for Break and Enter and Possession
A Chatham man was arrested for breaking and entering a Bloomfield Road residence and stealing copper tubing. The 27 year old man was later located and charged with Break and Enter and Possession of Stolen Property and released with a future court date.
Man Arrested Domestic Assault
On June 9th, 2015 at approximately 10:00am, police responded to a domestic call on Tweedsmuir Avenue in Chatham. A 26 year old Chatham man was arrested for assault and assault with a weapon and was held for bail.
