On Thursday, June 11th 2015, Guelph Police Traffic Unit conducted a successful commercial motor vehicle blitz. A total of seventeen commercial motor vehicles were stopped resulting in four equipment charges, four overweight charges and ten verbal warnings for minor violations. Two commercial vehicles were found to be unsafe and were taken off the road until repaired. Guelph Police are committed to road safety and will continue both random and scheduled enforcement campaigns.
