(BLUEWATER, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a 31 year old male driver from Dutton following a traffic stop early this morning. Just before 2:00 a.m. a Huron OPP officer stopped the driver of a Ford Focus on Bayfield Main Street North near Catherine Street East.
While speaking with the driver the officer discovered a small quantity of marihuana inside the vehicle. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the officer locating an additional quantity of marihuana.
As a result, the driver, 31 year old Jeremiah SHUTTLEWORTH, from Dutton has been charged with Possession of a Schedule II Substance – Cannabis Marihuana. He has since been released from custody with an upcoming court appearance to be made later this summer at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
