Police Looking For 69 Young Pigs

(HURON EAST, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating the recent break, enter & theft of 69 pigs stolen from a pig farm operation located on Krauter Line. Sometime between 12:00 p.m. on June 28, 2015 and 9:00 a.m. on June 29, 2015 those responsible entered into the barn through an insecure back door. Once inside the barn the thieves managed to load up the pigs and subsequently drive away with them.

At the time of the theft, the pigs were all about 25 to 30 pounds in weight. The total value of the stolen pigs is estimated to be around $3,000.
