(ASHFIELD-COLBORNE-WAWANOSH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the OPP West Region Technical Traffic Collision Investigation Team (TTCI) have laid a Highway Traffic Act charge against the Volkswagen Jetta driver that struck a bicyclist on Blyth Road yesterday morning.
47-year-old Christopher COAKLEY has been charged with: Fail to Turn out to Left to Avoid Collision with Bicycle contrary to section 148 (6) of the The Highway Traffic Act.
The injured bicyclist remains in hospital with serious injuries.
