(TOWNSHIP OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Saturday, August 8, 2015 at approximately 7:40 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an injured male after the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) he was operating rolled into a ditch in the Township of Chatsworth.
The ATV was travelling east bound on Sideroad 1 near Grey Rd. 3. As the operator attempted to drive around a hay wagon being pulled by a tractor, the tires of the ATV dropped off the edge of the roadway causing the ATV to roll into the ditch.
The victim, a 39-year old male from the Township of Chatsworth was air lifted to a hospital in London, Ontario with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation continues.
