(LUCKNOW, ON) – On September 18, 2015, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received reports regarding 5 different vehicles that were entered overnight in the village of Lucknow. The list of stolen items includes a prescription pair of Ray Ban sunglasses and some loose change.
The South Bruce OPP is encouraging residents to follow tips from the Lock it or Lose it initiative to help prevent thefts of motor vehicles and thefts from motor vehicles:
Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the doors and pocket the key
Never leave your vehicle unattended while its running
If you have a garage, use it. Lock the vehicle and the garage doors
Never leave your vehicle keys in plain view or easily accessible
Always park in a busy, well-lit area
Never leave valuable objects or packages in plain view
You work hard to earn your money, so work hard to protect your purchases…Lock it or Lose it.
The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
