On the morning of June 14, 2015 a 44 year old Kitchener male was released from Police custody for the charges of Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Operate Motor Vehicle – Over 80. The male was scheduled to appear on June 26, 2015 in Kitchener court to answer to the charges. While on his way home, the male approached a citizen and allegedly made threatening comments about police. The citizen contacted Waterloo Regional Police to report this incident. The male was located and arrested by Central Division Patrol officers. The male is further charged with Utter Threats to Cause Death and Promote Willful Hatred. The male was held for a bail hearing to answer to the charges.
