Kitchener Assault Victim Expected To Survive

Location: KING ST W, KITCHENER, ON Canada

On July 1, 2015, at approximately 11:00 p.m. police were called to a disturbance in the area of King and Water Street in the city of Kitchener. As a result, a 31 year old Kitchener man was transported to hospital with an injury from an edged weapon. The victim remains in hospital, and current information indicates that he is expected to survive. At this time, investigators do not believe this was a random attack and are looking into the possibility that the victim had prior interaction with the assailant(s) at a local bar.
