Officers with the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit conducted an investigation into the sale of Heroin in Barrie.
On the 8 July 2015 two Barrie men were arrested and found in possession of over an ounce of pure heroin street value $12,000. They also had a small quantity of cocaine.
The accused were linked to addresses on Logan Court and Forsyth Crescent where the Barrie Police Street Crime unit executed search warrants.
A 26 year old male and the 37 year old male were charged with numerous offences under the Controlled Drug and Substance act, including Trafficking heroin, possession of Heroin and possession of cocaine.
Both accused were held for a bail hearings.
