On Monday July 13, 2015 at approximately 6:29 a.m., a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian occurred at Victoria Street South and Weichel Street in the City of Kitchener. A pick up truck driven by a 37 year old Kitchener man was travelling northbound on Victoria Street South. A 53 year old Kitchener woman attempted to cross Victoria St S eastbound, in front of the truck’s path, and was struck. The woman was eventually transported to Hamilton General Hospital where she remains in critical condition. The investigation is continuing and no charges have been laid yet as the investigation is ongoing.
