On July 15th, 2015 the Waterloo Regional Police Strategic and Tactical Services Guns and Gangs Unit, with the assistance of the Emergency Response Unit, executed a search warrant at an address in the City of Kitchener. As a result of this search warrant 7 replica firearms, a prohibited weapon, and a quantity of methamphetamine and marihuana was seized. A 43 year old Kitchener male has subsequently been charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon. In addition, a 18 year old female was also charged with Possession Marihuana.
